Located on the Hamakua Coast of the Big Island. If you like tropical rain forests, green plants and colorful flowers, then you are in the heart of it all. As you enter the 8 acre estate you will see our large grove of apple bananas and a variety of tropical fruit trees. Through the lava rock walled driveway entrance you will find a single story plantation style house, built in 2003. We have two spacious rooms to choose from; each with its own entrance from the outside. Large television with satelite, couch/chair/table combinations, and are decorated with the feel of Hawaii. We are a single story facility with NO STAIRS to climb. Many sites to see in and around Hilo. Enjoy quaint shops, a movie theater, restaurants, and the Farmer’s Market which runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Waterfalls, surfing, and snorkeling are a short drive away, and Volcano National Park is an easy 35 minute drive.
HILO BAY ROOM… the room with a view of Hilo Bay. This is the perfect room for two. Honeymooners to businesses persons, this room is big. There is a 4 poster King size teak bed with adjustable “Sleep Number” mattress, 32” color TV/satellite, DVD, WIFI, table with two chairs, high back sitting chair and love seat couch, coffee table, night stands and dresser. There is a small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker with assortments of teas and coffee, toaster, silverware, plates, cups and wine glasses. The bathroom has Travertine floors, pedestal sink, open closet with fresh towels, ironing board, hair dryer, full tub with shower. Reading material, maps, and “The Big Island Revealed” are in the room for your use. This book maps out all the places to see as you drive. We call it the tour guide in a book.

MAUNA KEA ROOM WITH EXTRA ROOM...a very large and comfortable room. This room is perfect for a couple or group up to six who need lots of room. There is a King size teak bed with adjustable “Sleep Number” mattress, 37”wide screen LCD color TV/satellite, DVD, WIFI, table with four chairs, full size couch, piano/keyboard, night stands and dresser. There is a small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker with assortments of teas and coffee, toaster, silverware, plates, cups and wine glasses. The bathroom has double sinks with granite counter tops and mango wood cabinets, hair dryer, tub and shower. Through a second door of the bathroom you enter into the extra bedroom. The extra bedroom has two full size beds, night stands, and a dresser. Reading material, maps and the guide are available for your use.
$215.00 per night/ one night stay add $25.00
Room rates are figured with double occupancy; additional $25.00 per person each room. One night stay add $25.00. Room deposits are 50% of room rate for total number of days reserved. Balance will be collected upon arrival. We accept Visa or Master Card. The deposit must be paid to reserve your stay. All rooms are subject to Hawaii’s 11.41% tax, which includes transient accommodation tax (TAT) - 7.25% and general excise tax (GET) – 4.16%.
We are a Non-Smoking facility, in compliance with new Hawaii State Laws.
Check In – 3 pm and after; Check Out – 11 am Please call with your arrival time and any special arrangements.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations up to 20 days before arrival - your deposit will be returned less 10% ($40.00 minimum). Any cancellations less than 20 days before arrival – your deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellations within 7 days from arrival, departing early, arriving late, or not showing up will be charged for the complete reservation. Reservations may be rescheduled before this 21 day period.
“Merrie Monarch Festival… There is a five night minimum stay required during the Merrie Monarch Festival period. For cancellations of reservations during the Merrie Monarch Festival up to 60 days before arrival – your deposit will be returned less 20% ($40.00 minimum). Any cancellations less than 60 days before arrival – your deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellations within 14 days from arrival, departing early, arriving late, or not showing up will be charged for the complete reservation. Reservations may be rescheduled or cancelled before this 61 day period.
